Looking for a relaxing day trip at the beach in Djibouti? Try out Mousha Island.
Mousha Island is a tropical island with mangroves and white sandy beaches. Apparently, Mousha Island was sold in 1840 to Britain for ten sacks of rice, and then later traded to France in exchange for the Sacaadadiin Islands off of Somaliland's coast. Many of our guests like to visit Mousha Island to end their tours of East Africa on the beach.
